.River level forecasts have risen significantly today as additional
rainfall and runoff is now being utilized in the forecasts to cause the
rises that have been expected.
River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 24 hours.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Mississippi River at Camanche.
* Until further notice.
* At 10:30 AM Friday the stage was 17.4 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, Rise to 20.4 feet next Friday. Changes can be expected
in the crest forecast if rainfall forecasts in the coming days
change and as additional forecast rain is added to the river forecast.
* Impact, At  20.0 feet, Water affects South Washington Boulevard in
Camanche. Water also affects the Camanche Marina. Water also
affects several homes in Albany.

North Skunk River near Sigourney affecting Keokuk County
.Heavy rain has already fallen in portions of Iowa this morning
associated with a line of thunderstorms and additional rain is expected
through today and over the next several days. This will cause rises on
several area rivers, including the Cedar, Iowa, and English rivers in
eastern Iowa.
River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 24 hours.

The Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S.
* Until further notice.
* At  9:30 AM Friday the stage was 9.5 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, Rise above flood stage Saturday morning and continue
rising to 12.4 feet Monday morning.
* Impact, At  12.5 feet, Major Flood Stage. Water affects old U.S.
Highway 61 near the river.

* At  8:00 AM Friday the stage was 16.7 feet and slowly rising.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, Rise to 20.0 feet next Wednesday. Changes can be expected
in the crest forecast if rainfall forecasts in the coming days change
and as additional forecast rain is added to the river forecast.
* Impact, At  20.0 feet, Water affects the River`s Edge parking lot.
Water is over the top of the jetty at Lindsay Park Yacht Club.
Water affects buildings at Sunset Marina in Rock Island and
Moline`s River Drive from the 2300 to 5500 block.

.Several rounds of thunderstorms with the potential for heavy
rainfall will impact the area today and tonight. This may lead to
flash flooding as the ground is saturated over much of the area
from the on-going wet weather pattern.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of Illinois, Iowa, and northeast Missouri, including
the following areas, in Illinois, Bureau, Carroll, Hancock,
Henderson, Henry IL, Jo Daviess, McDonough, Mercer, Putnam,
Rock Island, Stephenson, Warren, and Whiteside. In Iowa,
Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Des Moines,
Dubuque, Henry IA, Iowa, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Jones,
Keokuk, Lee, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren, and
Washington. In northeast Missouri, Clark and Scotland.
* This afternoon through Saturday morning
* Heavy rainfall and saturated soils may lead to flash flooding
* Flash flooding is possible especially in urban areas, and along
small creeks and streams. In addition, the heavy rain may also
lead to further rises on rivers that are already flooding.

A Flash Flood Watch means that flash flooding is possible.
Monitor forecasts and take action if flash flood warnings are
issued or flash flooding develops.
